After three weeks of being held in this room, the door is finally opened, bright light from the outside assaulted my eyes. I've been walking for a few days now, regaining the strength in my limbs. As I walked out, I saw them leaving. I do not know where I am, but it should not be hard to find out. There is a river nearby, I will follow it and hope it soon brings me to a town.
I wonder why they left. My son, still in my arms has been unharmed, even though they checked him daily. Were they looking for something in my child? They never left my sight, and he, never my arms when they came to look at him, so what could it be that they were hoping for that they did not find in him? I may never know, but it is time I return to the Dawn Hall, and away from all that has to do with those of his blood.
