Part one: Finding the body

-What happened to him?

-He must have killed himself.

The man who seemed to be the leader nodded once upon hearing the answer and approached the dead body, lying in the Midgewater Marches, it was a young man, laying dead with a knife in his chest. The leader walked next to him and kneeled, extending his right hand towards the body, he passed it over the chest one of two times and frowned for a moment, then after thinking again he lifted the dead man's right hand. Upon pulling the sleeve up he saw a silver coin, It was tangled in a string that was sewn to the shirt that the bandit was wearing.

The leader took it and drew a deep breath, he kept it in his hands, looking at it and then pocketed it to make sure it was safe.

-So they know about us?

-No, but they found the body of the one we sent in their Barracks when they burned.

-How is this possible?

-I don't know. He must have done something wrong.

-I didn't tell him to burn it! was the angry response of the man in charge and he punched the ground, then supported his weight on his fist and pushed himself up. He looked at the body once more.

-What happened to this one?

-According to them they attacked a camp and killed everyone, only he escaped but killed himself before letting them capture him.

-And he managed to hide the coin, now they don't have any clues. Good. If only the others are like him... Bury him!

The leader seemed proud of the young man and turned to look into the distance, where Bree lies.

-It's time to start making preparations. The time is almost due... Make sure that no one sees you and if they do, hide the coin! I trust in all of you. I will seen you soon. I have to attend a meeting.

The man walked away and the others took the body and some shovels to bury the body, whereas some others started talking to themselves and nodded in agreement, everyone seeming to share the same opinion. Slowly they all walked towards Chetwood, scattering as they got closer and closer. In the end they disappeared between the trees, each one away from the others.
