Aallan Scarlet has been banished from Bree-land, the sister punishment of hanging. I am thankful that the latter was not the judgment passed on him and he shall not throw away his second chance. I can only pray that he shall better himself and perhaps in time redeem himself. I will also hold hope that those he names friends shall not tempt him.
I will hope for his sake and my own that we do not cross paths again for it shall only mean one of two things. Either he has foolishly been tempted to return to Bree or I happen upon him while I wander the lands around and I will have a hard time explaining what Aggy Harlow would be doing all the way out there.
My time in the town has ended and with the coin I have made working at the jail house I will buy the supplies we need and make my way back to the keep to meet with the others so that we can prepare another search for Thorontir and Ulfey.
This has taken longer than I expected and so either the company shall be glad to see me or I will be faced with some scolding if their current supplies have run out, there are many mouths to feed there these days.
Perhaps luck has found us and the two have returned. Last I knew Thorontir has not made any attempts of contact after he took off and Ulfey vanished without a trace after the witch hunt.
If they have returned by the time I reach the keep again a lot of stress shall be lifted from my shoulders. To have someone lost for so long and not knowing what happened, not knowing where to start looking, it is a strain.
I can only hope that both of them are alright and we shall not be stumbling upon their corpses once we find them.
I best remember to leave a letter for mister Fenflower. When I return to Bree another time I hope he shall allow me work at the jail house again. Till then I might have to find another woman to take over the work.
