V-Jam - Concert in the Halls of Vanimar

Event details:
A concert will be held in the Halls of Vanimar for talented musicians.
Perform your favorite piece. The audience will chose theirs at the end of all performances.Of course there wil be an award and you will be mentioned in the news.
Hopefully there will be some time to for a jam-session too.
And if by then the crowd still doesn't feel like going home, the musicians who have not announced their participation in advance, are very welcome to perform.

We hope to see many of you for an enjoyable evening.

First part (competition) is meant for musicians who compose their songs themselves and play them realtime during the concert (no ABC-files).
If there is still interest in more music after a possible jam-session, everybody who does not meet the above criteria would be welcome to play (ABC-Files, ...).
However, please refrain from playing very unfitting-songs. Yes, I'm aware that the chances that a concert like this, where Men, Hobbits, Dwarves and Elves meet ,would have been very unlikely, but let's try at least to keep the Middle-Earth mood by sticking to music that fits the event (but yes, cheery Hobbit or Dwarve songs are very welcome to relieve us elves from our constant dooms-day mood ;)
Dress nicely and please leave your weapons at home (or at least outside our Kin-Hall).
