Another one of those days.

It had seemed like such a normal day, the type Aeo had grown used to, all he had to do was complete an order, well namely deliver it, but then it would be done, he road east, humming softly to himself as he guided the wagons team of horses, no sense using Pug for this. The load was to heavy.

It was going so very well.....and then the Five hooded figures made their way from where they had been hidden behind some brush, blocking the road.

A long sigh left his lips, he could already smell their foul stench on then wind, and by their build ot was clear they were half breeds.

He had a very strong dislike for half orcs, being ad subtle as he could, he undid the clasp for his cloak and quickly laid it over the loaded crossbow he always kept while making these runs, he knew their sight was poor at the best of times, so he reached up, and ruffled his hair a bit, thankful for the few days growth of beard on his face he could pass for scruffy bandit....maybe, if he was lucky, the red hair was a bit of a give away, not to mention how well kept the horses were.

He sighed again, and did his best to make himself look as small as possible

"Halt master, we've some questions for ya!"

"Well at least this ones educated enough to have lost his accent." Was his first thought, before he reined in, eyeing the group. "What can I do for ya then eh? Make it quick ya, storms rollin in!"  Aeo couldn't hide the small smirk as they all looked up to get an eyeful of sunlight, a pained grunt leaving their leader.

"We are lookin for a man, been supplying some local...brigands with arms and armor, ya not heard of someone like that have ya?"

Another sigh but he managed tp play this one of as if he'd been asked already and was starting to find it annoying. "Third time i'v been asked that today, listen 'ere, i ain't seen no one sellin arms and armor to no one round 'ere, in bree, sure but not 'ere." He altered his accent ever so slightly. "Now this 'ere wagons got a load of grain in it."

The two on the left broke away, heading for the back of the wagon, he waited for them to get to the back, then muttered a curse under his breath, and reached under his cloak.

"O' its got one other thing as well..." he brought the crossbow up, tilting it slightly so that the cloak slid off, atleast that was the plan, it had hooked the far arm, the moment he pulled the trigger a nice new hole was made in it, his aim thrown off the one he had shot, their leader, went down squealing as the bolt took him dead center in the gut, legs crumpling as the steel tip shattered the half breeds spine.

Aeo was quick to snap the reins, the horses snorting, and taking off as he shouted a command at them in his native tongue.

The squeals were cut off as the wagon bounced, the iron shod hooves, and wheels of the wagon having made short work of the first orc, and the idiot that had tried to grab one of the beasts in an attempt to stop them, that just left the other two.5

Thankfully hey hadn't gotten good holds and were left in a tumbled heap.

"Guess I'll be ridding hard on the way home....ah well, another one of those days."
