Thou art parted my little sister,
from this world of grief and pain.
Like a vision bright thou'st vanished,
never to return again.
In love Fate sent thee to us,
like the Moon pure and bright.
'Twas in love Fate took thee from us,
to the blissful realm of light.
As our hearts were sad and heavy,
as we watched thee day by day.
Saw thy cheeks grow paler and paler,
saw thee fading fast away.
Till at last the gentle spirit,
left the wearied little frame.
And was carried by the stars,
to the land from whence it came.
Like a golden thread it binds us,
to the home we would be.
Where upon death's gentle bosom,
Our lost darling we shall see.
Thou art parted my little sister,
from this world of grief and pain.
Like a vision bright thou'st vanished,
never to return again.
Never never to return again,
Never to return again.
Rick blinked his eyes a few times as he stood in the pouring rain, looking over the freshly filled ground with a little stone resting above it. A tear rolled down his cheek, masked by the rain somewhat. Bee gazed up at him, despite the rain catching in her eyes, with brows knitted together by concern. She pursed her lips and stayed quiet, but squeezed his hand a moment before letting go and slipping an arm around his waist. This was enough to bring a smile to Rick's lips, and he moved his own arm around Bee and held her tightly for a moment, sniffling in before together the couple walked down the muddy path towards the cramped home of the Woodruffs, where many all dressed in black were heading towards.
