Taliom found himself walking towards the West Gate, when he spot Shimmer, Amanda's mare, next to the stairs of the market. He walked upstairs, and didn't took him too long to figure out she probably was at the Scholar's Hall, because he saw her there just a few days ago. When he entered, Kris was walking to the door, leaving, silent as a ghost. He didn't say a word to Taliom, he simply left. Taliom walked more into the hall, just to find Amanda and her dog Bailey.
Taliom: "What happened?"
Amanda: "Nothing", she said, running immediately after Kris.
They both left the Hall, and walked around the city, Amanda trying to find Kris, and Taliom following Amanda, concerned. Thanks to Bailey, they managed to find Kris quickly. She approached him, with Taliom keeping his distance. Both argued for a while, Kris being very upset, telling her she doesn't know what really is to be hurt, throwing in her face she ignores or just simply doesn't care what the people that love her does for her.
Kristophor: 'Being alone is choking at a noose while your whole family watches! Hurt is being stabbed and broken by the ones who are supposed to love you! Hurt is loosing ever single person who has ever meant something to you and it being your fault! Hurt is stabbing a blade into your brother's gut to try and help people! You don't get to throw your life away because you think you hurt. You don't know and you never will because everyone will fucking die for you but you don't care at all!'
Amanda heard him and shook her head, "Sorry... At least you don't have people telling you what to do.." she said quietly, walking away, glancing a bear before climbing up a tree.
Taliom sighed watching the scene, shaking his head. He doesn't know how to help or approach the matter right now, and he's unaware he's just about to explode in anger in a few minutes.
Amanda jumped out of the tree from the shortest branch and took off running, Kris walking toward some ruins. Amanda falls on the ground, starting to cry. Taliom goes next to her, "Amanda... what happened back there at the Hall?", he asked, and "Go away..." was the answer she chose. "Is that what you really want?" he asked, but she didn't answer, and after a little pause, Amanda went after Kris again, Taliom following her once again.
Taliom: "Amanda, he's far away already, leave him be."
Amanda: "No.", she kept going after him.
Taliom: "Amanda, just stop, tell me what happened.''
Amanda: "No, leave me alone."
Taliom: "Leave you alone?! Really?!" He started to get really angry, tired of her constantly pushing him away whenever he tries to help or talk to her.
Amanda whistled loudly, Shimmer who had been following rode up, she jumped up onto her, "Amanda, stop! Now!', he ordered her, and she just did stop to say something that made him explode once and for all, "I said stay away".
Taliom can't help now but shout as loud as he can, the rage lit him like a bonfire, "You want me to go away?! I go away, but don't you dare saying I hate you or I don't care about you! I saved you more times than I can count... I even prepared you a birthday party, when you never had one, when no one else made one for you! You want me to leave? FINE! I leave!", he started walking back to Bree, so angry he couldn't even think straight for a few moments. He walked towards the inn, just to find Amanda climbing the boars of the fountain in front of the Training Hall. She quickly got down and started chasing Taliom, "Wait, I'm sorry! Please stop!" she said, trying to grab his arm. "Oh, so now I'm the one who has to stop!" he replied, offended with her attitude moments ago. "Please! I'm sorry!", she tried again, "Please what?! Amanda, you throw away everyone who cares about you!". She frowned at the yelling, "I'm sorry... Okay?"
Taliom: "That's what you said after Andrath, but you kept getting in trouble. That's what you said when you came back after escaping. And now you say that because I'm doing the same thing you did? You are constantly telling me to go away, when you clearly know I want to help you, because I care about you, because you are like the sister I never had, but you keep pushing me away; me, Kris, everyone. You told me to go away and that's what I do."
Amanda frowned: "I'm really sorry, okay? I... nevermind... leave if you want to... I might not be here when you get back...", she sniffled.
Taliom: "You told me to leave, now who's telling who what to do?", he turned and continued walking towards the West Gate.
Amanda: "I was mad, I'm sorry, okay!? Just stop! Please!", she tried without success, now the roles being changed.
When Taliom was just a few feet away from the gate, Amanda hugged him from behind, crying on his cloak. He sighs heavily, looking into the distance past the gate,"Please.", Amanda hugged him tight. "And if I stay, then what? When is gonna be the next time you throw someone away?" he asked. "I won't, I promise. You can slap me if I do...", she answered.
Taliom: "I've already witnessed your promises, why is this one gonna be different? The others also were."
Amanda: "I'll leave if I break it... and I'll never come back. I'll... I'll move to Evendim, and you'll never hear from me again, I'll stay out of your life. Just... please don't leave."
Taliom: "You already made clear multiple times you don't want me around, why now you want me to stay? So you can push me away again next time you get upset with me... or with Kris, or Ms. Brynleigh, or someone else?"
Amanda sighed, letting him go, looking at him: "My mom took my brother with her... when she left... if you want to leave... I'll stop trying to stop you... but... I can't lose another person who's like my brother..." was the last thing she said. ((Probably walking away because Amanda's player had to log.))
Taliom stood there for a moment, without looking back at her, and then he started walking outside the gate, heading to the southern fields...
