Leoffrith's eldest sister, Aelfwyn. The smartest of the nine siblings, particularly when it comes to abstract concepts. Married a blacksmith and lives in Marton over the smithy, not far from the Mead Hall; they have three children (unless they've had more since Leoffrith left). Her strawberry blonde hair turns this reddish by winter, but for most of the year the sunshine makes it a more burnished golden blonde, similar to most of the rest of the family (only Leoffweard and Leoffrith are properly red-haired).
