Should I listen to this stranger and take this mysterious stone to the spire? ... Or should I just stay in Bree where most things are peaceful and simple? I can’t decide. On one hand, the stranger didn't really give any reason as to why I must do this, or to why he can’t just do it himself. He said something about a 'shadow' taking over me and the land if I didn't go. Indeed, he could do a better job of convincing me. But… on the other hand.. Calagand says I should listen to the stranger, he says these 'elves' can be trusted. And I think I trust my Captain enough to know that he's telling the truth. And then... there is also the dream I had last night. I'm not sure what to think of it, and neither is Cal. And back to the first hand, how do I even truly know he’s an elf in the first place? He certainly looks like one, at least according to what the Captain says, but then again, who knows. He could be tricking me for some reason. On the other hand.. oh forget the other hand… Indeed, I could go on and on about this. But ultimately, Calagand just needs to talk with this elf in black armor himself…
