Tinnurion in Mirkwood

The Greenwood of old has harboured Tinnurion for many years. When Sauron's shadow fell upon it around 1050 TA, it became known as Mirkwood and that suited Tinnurion, for though the shadow that had tainted it was of evil nature, the gloom that had come over the forest reminded him of Nan Elmoth and that was encouraging to this wandering elf long since bereft of any home.
