News of Eregion: Part one

The journal shows signs of being left alone for some time. Dust has gathered, and stains of dirt and mud are shown with some of the pages. The cover is covered with dust, enough that you can't see the name of the owner.

It has been a long time since I've wrote in this journal, for our children have grown and matured. We've heard of a place called Eregion, and Ost-in-Edhil. Many of the Noldor have left to go there, and we've decided that we should go as well, as we have dwelled in Mithlond for far too many years. I spoke with Alimaenda, and she agreed with my thoughts. "Beloved, many of the Noldor journey to Eregion, and I've heard rumors of it being a wondrous land, filled with jewels to be found". We now spoke with Varni and Hrai, as they would still need to be taught, more-so about jewelry, and what I had learned. It was decided, we gathered our supplies- anything that we could carry- and departed.
