With beloved Alimaenda and our children sound asleep, I left our home and went in search of a forge- a dwarf forge to be precise. I knew that some of the dwarves had set up their forge in Ost-in-Edhil for several days, so I set out in the night. Ost-in-Edhil was not that far away, simply a hour and a half, for our home wasn't that far away either. So I walked, among the pine and oak, walking up the hills. It was a good day to travel, as far as I expected. Within a hour I arrived, and within thirty minutes I met Thrin- quite unexpected. "Melethaon, is that you? come, come, come!" and so I went closer, and explained why I came hither here. "To find a Dwarf blacksmith, and it seems I've found one!". I was quite lucky to find Thrin again, for I much enjoyed his company, but more-so his talk of jewelry and his crafts, for he was quite skilled in jewelry and other arts. We talked and talked, then I departed, and went back to my home. They were still sound asleep when I returned, although Hrai had awakened just before I turned the door knob. But he found me simply reading a book near the oak tree, and so. I'm glad that I was able to speak with Thrin again, and I hope I can see him again as well soon.
