Wishful thinking is hoping to see him again, hoping he'll make it back,
Wishful thinking is hoping he'll live to be back where he belongs,
Wishful thinking is taking his place by the post in the Inn, keeping it up while he's gone,
Wishful thinking is holding the memories you have, and hoping for more,
Wishful thinking is remembering the times you spent together, 
Wishful thinking is hoping he'll live and be back home,
Wishful thinking is hoping to see your loved ones before it's to late to say how you feel,
Wishful thinking is keeping the necklace he gave you on in hopes it will bring good luck and have him return,
Wishful thinking is thinking in the hopes, you'll father will make it back safe and alive,
Wishful thinking is hoping he remembers you if he returns,
Wishful thinking is hoping he's the same person you remember and looked to as a father.
