I have come to write down my excessive feelings of jubilation! I see no end to the craving for battle and it seems that lust shall be satisfied soon!
I approached the jailhouse today to speak with the Watchers about this Wolfshead. They let me inside after some amusing exchange and I advanced in, looking about at their collection of weapons, their sparring tactics and the filth-ridden prisoners that they held within the iron bars.
The weapons and gear were simple in nature but extremely effective. I have to admire the Bree-landers for their common tools that get the jobs they need done. However, their combat tactics will only bring them so far and I would love to see what else they could learn or adapt their warriors to.
Someone told me they were not warriors though, and just men who "keep justice". I then asked what they meant entirely by justice, but I got mixed responses! We have punishments of our own but they are not for justice, but for the survival of the tribe! What do they mean by justice, then?
It saddened me greatly to see the two boys locked behind the bars. Their elders have failed them in raising them with honor and dignity. Shame upon them and their family!
But most importantly, I met with this Watcher named Corrben. I have heard of him in conversation before, mostly good things. He seemed tired, worn and unwilling to communicate unless on business-related purposes. He gave me these drawings and pointed me forward with some hints.
The woman they call "Black" would make a nice reward for my work.. perhaps that Briony? Who knows! Long have I missed the touch of a woman, my skill in combat may awe them into my arms!
The hunt begins for the Wolfshead. I will bring honor to my name.
