Æbbe hails from Wildermore, Forlaw. If one were to venture to those lands there are plenty of stories going about Æbbe, or rather.. "Gusdig" as the locals call him.

One of such stories is he's was found next to a dead bear which must had given him birth. The bear and boy was found by a villiger from Byre Tor and brought to the Thane which heard such tales. Some believe this tale to be true, as he does wear the remains of his bear "Mother" around at times.

Another tale just as popular in the region, is one night he was left as a baby in the halls of Reeve Gárwig. Which took pity on the boy and ensure he grew up strong and trained. Becoming one of the trusted men to serve his kin. Always there to aid the people of Wildermore no matter of his own safety.

There may be plenty more of such tales among the locals of Forlaw and Wildmore, to whom it may true and other's just the imagination of a drunk. Time or only him would know. Maybe the future may enlighten his past.
