The beginnin of this year's OAKS was a truly amazin concert !!!!
Thanks ta all of my friends who came by ta start this 5th year off wit a deliteful party which included sum outstandin music...
a bit of smokin, a bit of drinkin, sum fireworks, sum mighty fine dancin..cheerin..and sum wonderful happy hugs
A special thanks ta Master Rhyms and his awesum band, the Misti Mountain Hobbs!
I didnt want this concert ta ever end....woohoo!
((Fer ya folks what was two sick ta come ( ya must have been sick if ya missed it ) ...
Now it be September and I have found anuther band that is sure ta give all of
us an outstandin concert wit a lot of fun dancin tunes...woohoo!
It will be difficult ta wait..but then we dont have ta wait long cause the September OAKS will be comin this Saturday....September 15 at eight bells in the evenin!
That's when the Purple Folks be comin...oh no they're not purple...
It's the pipeweed they smoke what be purple....no that's not rite either...
Oh dear I'm so confused...agin...*giggles*
Maybee it's the place where they smoke that be purple...
....well.... we'll find out t'gether on Saturday Sept 15 *winks*

Purple Pipeweed Parlor Band
I've herd these folks all around the Shire so I no they can play many different kinds of music or as Papa calls them jonras or ginras...makes me think of a big bear that be eatin gingerbread and then roarin cause he dont want ta share

but these folks be mighty happy ta share their music wit us *cheers*
This band has an always-happy hobbit lass, a tall elf maiden, a human fella who be kind of shy, and a friendly dwarfie so ya can tell they play all kinds of music fer all of the folks in Middle Earth.
Miss Agago even told me they had that ol' grumpy bald gaffer that lives way up on Harrow Road laughin and dancin along ta their music.
Bring all yer family & yer neighbors two ta the September OAKS wit the Premier Purple Players...or sumthin like that
