Chronicle Summary
The chronicles of the Stouthammer Family, called thus by Búrfi son of Bjalfi, Voice of the Mountain and Keeper of Memories. His earliest works tell the tale of each of his late family members, starting with the settlers, the sons of the brothers Bruni, Narfi and Nagli.
Chronicle Content
These chronicles recount the fates of each of Búrfi's family members, starting with the settlers Buri, Skagi, Nóri, Nál and Bulsi, sons of the last of the Stouthammer line to have inhabited Moria, and the first to have made a life in the Ered Luin since their ancestors left those mountains. Hence the name settlers.
