A letter to Brynleigh

Dear Brynleigh,

I hope this letter finds you as I'm not really sure of your whereabouts at the moment, busy as I've been at my farm helping out my mother with preparations for the changing season.
I will give it to young Éoric, who sometimes comes by. He is the son of Wulfric, a crofter from a nearby farm and one of my old Riders. I will give the boy a good description of you and I'm sure he'll find you soon enough, most likely by the stables in Snowbourn.

I wanted to write you because I caught myself thinking of our long journey, just the other night. What an adventure it was. Quite the experience, indeed, with all its good moments and the hardships, too. I thought about it and found myself missing your company. It has been a while since we last met and had the, well, somewhat uncomfortable meal with my mother. She can be a handful.

Would you, perhaps, care to join me one day for a ride around the Sutcrofts? I would very much like to reminisce about the journey and about far-away Bree. Should you wish to do so, please give Éoric your response or even ride here at my farm. I seem to have an abundance of time nowadays, even with the farm keeping my hands full, so I would be ready to set out whenever.

With warm thoughts,
Gamferth, son of Gamhelm
