In the early Second Age, before Eregion was founded, Aurthiel grew restless and bored of the peace of Lindon. She had known nothing but conflict and war since she was a youth. she struggled to understand peacetime. She ordered a suit of armor, black, and went down the path of exploring and hunting. She hunted down colonies of feral orcs and explored the wilderness yet to be inhabited by elves and men. It was not until Eregion was established by Galadriel and Celeborn that she would take the first steps to peaceful living.
