Days go by in a blur lately. I get up, I do any work that needs to be done, and then I go to Bree to find Sedryn. He took me to the lake up in Nen Harn not too long ago, where we spent several days together before coming back to Bree. He rowed us out to one of the bigger islands and for a few short days it felt like the rest of the world just completely fell away, and it was only the two of us.
Lately, my thoughts drift to him whenever he's not around. I dread for the day that I have to go to Ost Guruth again, though that's my job and that's what I do and have to do. I'm never gone for very long, but I'll miss him so terribly much.
I met his mum too, Camryn. She was different than lots of women I know, she seemed like she had a no-nonsense kind of attitude, but she also seemed to have a sense of humor at the same time. I guess it's hard to explain, because I didn't speak with her for very long. I hope she liked me, though. Sedryn thinks she did, but maybe that's just hopefulness speaking.
