Tracking A Captain

"He has been gone a long while. Was he not to give you your orders, Padrasul?" The young, golden-haired girl looked up at the older woman with innocent blue eyes. Padrasul smiled and winked at her. "I can live quite nicely without orders. Do you not agree?"
The girl did not pay heed to the light-heartedness and simple shook her head, continuing.

"No, no, no. What if he has disappeared once again? We have been making due without our Captain...but now you are here. You are new. What will you do? You have no way of knowing what you are supposed to do, as he told you not to go off on your own fancy."

A different thought struck Padrasul. She froze and her face turned suddenly grim.
"What? What is it?" But the words were not heard.

She had seen the marks. No one else had, but he had shown her. He told her. What if...?

"I will find him," Padrasul suddenly said with a smile to the girl. "I will track him down as if he were his own little pack of wargs. Likely smells as strong," she added in an attempt to lighten things up.
That night she left the camp she had only just begun to get used to, to search all of Arda if that was what it took.
