I came upon Blid leaving today, and I found myself actually quite sad about it. By no means have we become the closest of friends, but I have looked forward to seeing him in the Pony and teasing him over a crush I believe to be there. It was terribly awkward, discovering that Arlis was the dwarf I yelled at, when Blid introduced us. I did give my condolances for her friend's death, however, because I'm not entirely a monster with no feelings.
Though they seemed not to pay my words much mind, I did offer some pieces of advice when watching one of their ponies give them trouble in the distance, while I was speaking with Blid. I do hope for the best, and I hope that they all reach Rivendell safely and together and all in one piece. Or, four separate pieces, I guess. Hoepfully Sedryn and I will find Doc sometime soon, and we can continue with our treasure discovery. It does not feel right to look into it ourselves, when we've had friends to help us with it. I promised to write Blid and tell him of what we discover while he's gone.
Soon I will be off to the Lone Lands myself. I am still unsure of whether or not Sedryn has decided he wants to accompany me.
