I am losing count! Though this past eve were different to the last, even if it did have compliments from lads.
First off, it be Max, not Ruemax, just Max. I hope he don't mind, but to save confusion and all that. Max be a decent man who actually don't want up me skirts for he has a fancy for another lass, and Rue? Well, she be obnoxious, difficult and a nasty sort, who wants down Elias' trousers probably, given how fond she is of him. Though Max, I well, I might have said a bit more than I should have to him, once I discovered who it were he be daydreaming about. Hopefully this wont come back to bite me, I know of the lass, and where she is, trouble ain't far behind.
I also were asked to go chatting with another lad, private like. He'd come over when I were talking with that other dwarf. I swear bagpipes? anyone that be thinking they should play them to entertain others, should be dunked head first in the fountain! So, I go with this lad. There be a laugh, lad? He's old enough to be me grandfather! Great grandfather even! Still, he were pretty, like, very pretty, and didn't look a day over forty! We talked a good while too, about this and that, but mostly who he were and of traveling. He paid a few compliments, made me a generous offer though I ain't certain he were in a position to speak on behalf of others, but he said if I wanted to travel, him and Fions group would be happy to accompany me. We talked about the last journey I took with the man, and one word led to another and he were curious as to why I went home so quick. It were a bit confusing if I am truthful. He reckons I should stay with Elias, who he says he knows, then he goes saying it would be best to move on. He also told me of a place called Forochel? I'll nip to the library in town, see if I can see any drawings of there.
Everyone and their friend with advice. I'll take it all with a dash of salt. I know some who have been giving it have their own motives, others though be genuinely concerned. I just wish this ache I felt inside would leave, but it be growing, with every passing day
