I'm tired. I ache all over. I overdid it, I know I did, but at least it's done now. The tattered clothes came in handy, and for a time, my floor was covered in bubbles. Precarious footing, especially with a cane, but I managed not to hurt myself.
Everything is clean now. Everything is... Domestic. My larder is stocked. The fire is roaring merrily, but it's still not hot enough in here for my liking.
Heating the water for a much needed bath was almost more than I could do, but I did it all the same. I needed to. It didn't help much. I'm clean now, which is nice. Sadly, the soak did little to ease my muscles or bones.
I need a massage.
Perhaps I'll take a trip into Bree tomorrow and pay a visit to that man again. He was good with his hands.
