I am rather tired so my writing may be sloppy and it shall be kept short.
I was in town, checking on an old patient of mine earlier this week. After I had finished with the elderly woman for some reason, I decided to stand outside of the Prancing Pony inn and stare at the fountain while thinking. I truly do not even recall what led to me even standing there.
However, a beautiful Elf rode up and addressed me in her own tongue. She mistook me for one of her kind!!! What high praise that is to a woman, aha!
She told me I had eyes more captivating than any she'd seen in one of Man. My, how that did make my face redden!
She inquired about a friend of hers, Addiela, as she introduced her. Apparently she is of Rohan too. How strange.
Shortly thereafter, Addie stepped out of the inn and joined us, along with another Elf! His name was something...I shall have to pry my mind open. Do be a dear and wait patiently, little book.
Ah yes! Pendragost was his name. He was...majestic. I shan't dwell on describing any of them at this point. Too tired.
I did so love listening to them speak in Elvish. I could listen to it all day. Such a lovely language, and so peaceful. Then! Ahmo sang in Elvish. I am sure I looked quite like a child in my delight.
After they inquired a little about me and my gifts, my life, Addie had a strange message attached to a crow which she did not wish for us to see. I pretended not to see it, but I believe all of us did see it. She left immediately.
Then both Ahmo and Pendragost began speaking of how...what was the word...alluring I smelled? It was strange, but they were kind.
How strange, meeting Elves in Bree-land at all. But further that they somehow enjoyed speaking to me.
Too tired to write further. Goodnight, little book!
