Day 15: Endeavors!

The sun shines brightly this day; I feel it mimics the glory of which I have achieved! My hand shall whip and crack, as much needs to be recorded since my last writings. I neglected this dear text once, but never again. My life is valued, and I should persevere in my attempts to leave a relic of literature for my own people. I digress!

My endeavors as a tailor see no end. I have produced the finest clothes for many occasions, and my coffers only grow to exceed the goals I set. I may give back to the town through a hearty donation, or find some of my many dear friends among its walls and show them expressions of value.

There are so many faces that have come and gone; my life so full of so many beautiful people that I simply cannot forget. I hope many are still alive and well, basking in the warmth of life; if not, then their bodies absorbed by the sun and their souls returning to the darkness of the earth. I must make a habit of visiting them more often, especially since gray hairs have begun to appear upon my form. Although I have no qualms with death, as I have been a frequent acquaintance of it, I do value my own time upon these green fields!

So odd to think that I would call Bree-land another home, but here I am. My heart does not feel betrayed either way; especially since the end of the war has left my land free of the darkness and on the path to reconciliation. I hope to visit Harad again someday, I certainly have the coin to. I know that none of the people I grew up with are there; all are dead, but I would still like to be among the sands, the minarets of the cities gleaming in the distance and the coast opening up to the great blue sky. I shall plan a trip eventually.

I must get in contact with others soon; I have neglected the social aspect of my personal life in favor of business and scholarship so much that I am not even sure who frequents where anymore! Being gone for months across Eriador will do that to one, though, and perhaps to avoid such frustrations I should not take grand mercantile trips across the lands so much. Lesson learned!

I am sure much has happened as of late; I see many posters up for new taverns and residences that host events. I must invade these with haste, and set up a new web of friends to enact fun times and joyous evenings.

To a long and healthy end!
