A grand turn of events! Truly grand!
My goods and cart have been delivered to me safe and sound by the most wonderful dwarf by the name of Garram! Oh bless those Longbeards! The rumors of their trustworthiness are well founded after-all! I was terrified that I would never see my stubborn oxen or my cart ever again. I believe I will have to keep this dwarf in mind for future jobs. He certainly isn't as shrewd of a businessman as myself. He didn't want much for his labor other than fifty copper coins.
Ah, but I am not one to complain for a bargain! I'll have to keep this fellow in mind for future tasks in fact! He even played a game of dice with me and lost! Ha! Can't believe he bet two silver pieces! What person bets nearly three times what they were paid for a job? I don't feel bad for his loss though. The dwarf had a coin purse that was practically bursting at the seams! Either he is more shrewd in business than I thought or he is simply a very industrious dwarf.
Regardless, I think my goods will do well here. It seems these Lone landers are in need of basic supplies which my goods are more than sufficient for! Grant it, they are not of the best quality but it is better than nothing! In fact, I may bring my goods here to sell rather than Bree... Perhaps I can use the plight of the Lone Landers to my benefit in Bree? Folk are always willing to lend a hand or spare coin to a charity. Of course, I would donate a portion of my proceeds to these folk, but I am entitled to some compensation for my time. Am I not?
I'll be finishing up here soon, I think I may return to Bree to put into place my new plan. Let's hope my good fortune continues!
