Bright Bay Mare

They had been travelling back to where Osio had said would be safe for the prisoners of the orcs. An elven settlement in North Downs. On that path Winnie had heard the voice, the womans voice whispering in the water. She saw the bright bay mare drinking by the stream. The draw of the voice calling to her, pulling her near, she couldnt help it, feeling it pull her near. She rode closer to the mare, but duty pulled her back, she rode with the rest of them to the settlement, but the moment she had them inside safely, she called to Ryheric. "The Horse, I saw it, I have to got". Back up onto Bilberry and she rode hard back to the place she had seen the horse and heard the voice. No sign of the horse remained, only four light prints, but the voice was still there, she reached into the water. Clear as anything she heard the words. Samenin, Samenin, somewhere behind her a male voice soothing as she had reached her hands into the water, the voice stilled as fish began to rise up and nibble at her hands.

It took a moment, but the voice spoke again, she recognised the voice. It came from behind a tree, asking her if she lost something. She said she thought she might have. He ushered her to join him behind the tree that he might see her. She stepped slowly from the water and joined the tall beautiful elven man looking at him uncertain. The man whom owned the very horse whom had been haunting her dreams. Perhaps she could finally get some answers.

After explaining the dream of his horse, and the occurrence of the silver bowls, he believed his horse might actually be inserting herself into Winnies dreams herself. The calling whisper. Samenin in the Sindarin tongue is "Help me." he had explained. He then explained of an elven woman whom had loved the Adan, Therefore she was very unique in her desire to help the Adan. She lived for them. The time came when she should have taken a ship West, as is the fate of all the Eldar, in the end. Instead, to the anguish of her husband and her daughter, she chose to stay. She was lovely, and beloved to the West, beside the Sea. She was wedded to an Ellon with fine reputation, but was now a spirit. That this whispering, was who was calling, though her pleas might not be truly wholesome. That he himself, and his lady and daughter of the woman, had been long tracking her, and thus far had been unable to find her.

Long ago she had been to the North of the North Downs, trapped by another and held hostage. The man holding her was persuasive, but her heart remained true. Unfortunately, to torture her for choosing to keep her own Quendi soul their enemy tainted the spirit of her mother. He twisted her, and turned her into a dark presence. A terrible entity because of the wickedness inflicted on her. He believed it could be possible that, as many dark forces of sorcery do, she could have  inhabited an object. Though in doing so, there could be several reasons and outcomes, not all of them a negative thing.

She might have sort safety in the vessal, a way to use a wolesome item of a more pure and honest nature of someone who might commit wonderful deeds in order to restore herself. She might have retreated into it to regain strength and shelter from the bombardment of the outside. A possibility. One alternative. Though only one. The other not so pleasant. Though with it broken its unknown if she is still tainted with the wickedness or if the vessel has allowed her to clense and become renewed. Therefore its unknown if this is a trick as she asks for help, to bait to an unknown doom and suffering or she has managed to survive despite all odds against her and she is really in need of help and calling out to the Adan whom she so loved.

Tinta offered then that if they seek the silver bowl, that they bring it to Riverdell where he might be able to help them further in understanding it, and gaining a greater insight on the path they are now on. He agrees to speak with their leader, Ry, and offers the name of someone whom can show them to Riverdell as guide also. It is set.
