Water Stronger Than Blood

Egfor held the axe between him and the other man. He was having none of this. Egfor hissed, pressing the axe closer to Wolf, "Don't you dare use that tone on me. Just be honest with me." He struggled to keep his voice calm, his hand trembling, "How long have you been with her?"

Wolf shrugged nonchalantly as if it was no big deal, "About five years." Egfor pursed his lips, "Yet you 'betrothed' to me only three years ago. I.. you are such a liar. Why?! If you wanted multiple lovers, I would have been alright with it. But you lied and faked your own death?! I just..." Egfor snaps his axe down, embedding it into the tree between Wolf's knees, wanting to make the man sweat a little.

Wolf shifted a bit, that axe was too close for comfort. "Well I can't take it back. But I want you."

Egfor folds his arms over his chest, "Absolutely not. You broke my trust. I cannot trust anyone anymore. Not like that."

Wolf laughed, "Really? I hear you love every lad in town here? Seducing them all and getting upset when they leave you."

Egfor walks over to reclaim his axe, "That is my own business. Everyone deserves to be loved and I have lots of love to give."

Wolf stepped away from the man and the axe, "And you? Who loves you? Your dogs?"

Egfor point the axe suddenly at Wolf, "Myself. Thats who. I love myself if no one else will. That is all I need. I don't need a man to complete myself and I surely don't need a liar and a cheater in my life."

Wolf folds his arms, looking doubtful. "Let me know how that works for you."

Egfor glances back at the Inn briefly, "Now, I'll tell you; get off this property. My family would be happy to chase you off. You don't want to see Farlrik angry."

Wolf looks faintly amused, mounting his horse, "Alright , chill out, pony kid."

Egfor scowled, watching the man ride off before going back to chopping the wood he offered to do for the Inn. He picked up the bundle of wood and stepped inside, hesitating inside the door frame to the main room, observing those within:

Gheomaer,  as much as the squabbled, it was definitely more in a sibling way he saw.

Farlrik same goes for him too, they had their differences but stood side by side in battle and tacklig thieves.

Galtharian was one of his closest friends. Who knew he would befriend an elf so closely.

Ithilwe seemed to always be somber, yet Dunwine warmed him up and was always friendly to them.

Dalbran was always a friendly face to talk to and a great dwarf to share a drink or a dozen with.

Alralas always brought a smile to the Rohir's face. He enjoyed listening to his poetic ramblings and flowery language.

He stood in silence for a moment and looked within, murmuring to himself, "This is fanily, I am home."
