She had loved. She had lost. But Lissilana was now given a Path. Though wandering, it did take her, she would follow it. With all she was, and more. She would become more. She would do the work which she was meant to do and do so joyfully. Though it took her from many familiar and beloved faces, she would follow her Path.
Cynraede had been used to show her where she must go and what she must do. She'd been lacking in direction. No longer.
Did it pain her? Yes. She loved those she was leaving just as much as before, if not more. But this was her Path. Perhaps, one day, she would be back. She was prepared for wherever she would be led.
She would always lift her eyes to the stars. She would seek what she was meant to, beyond her feelings. Beyond her comfort.
