A comprehensive collection of botanical notes and essays penned by Argollon of Imladris concerning the plant life of Middle Earth, and the lost lands of Beleriand and Númenor.

In this collection are the recorded studies of the various types of flora I have encountered in my many years of study and travel, along with the recorded accounts and descriptions of that which has been lost in either the sinking of Beleriand or the destruction of Númenor. Much of the work regarding the recorded documentation of lost flora is to be taken as subjective, though verified as credible through multiple sources.
The goal of this collection is to preserve the knowledge of what once was for those who are to come. Within these essays one will find comprehensive listings of the various environments of Middle Earth, Beleriand, and Númenor, what flora is native to a particular region, specific essays documenting the appearances, families and medicinal uses of various plant-life, and what knowledge can be gathered about now extinct flora and what potential species of the same family yet survive.

All works within this Chronicle are a mixture of in-depth research and headcanon, though some headcanons are used to provide filler for the writing as this work is, primarily, the work of a character in Laurelin, and unfortunately a lot of in-depth information, regarding specifically the fictional plants of Tolkien's work, isn't available.
