Long has it been since my last entry.. sometimes I question why I write into such a hidden book.. alas to write my thoughts seems a wise thing on odd occassions.
The House of Vanimar has been busy of late.. so much so I questioned whether I could keep up with all the matters in hand.. for first and foremost I hope to do a good and faithfull job.
It became clear to me though, that my tasks had me spread to thin.. not enough time for each task in front of me.. so in each case the tasks suffered and thus the people involved in them.
Therefore it was with much thought that I asked our Tur, Lord Anglachelm to be permitted to step down from my duties as a Caun of the house. He agreed but politely asked if I would reconsider, I insisted it was for the best, for I knew not only that Vanimar already had many great Caun's but also it would allow me to focus in a more proper manner on the tasks and duties.. principly the Order of the Arrow of which I am fortuneate to be it's current head.
Now free of the Caun duties I feel i can now focus properly on the Order I only hope I can do it justice for many a skilled hunter/tracker and trapper have joined.
In the near future I shall head to Lorien with my love and Lady, Amorith. She has a need to visit the realm and thus I shall accompany her on this journey, I can only hope it will fair well.. the road grows ever more treacherous and should the mountain pass still be closed.. we may be forced to travel through Moria.. a thought that does not sit well with me.
