What is the riddle fun run?
The riddle fun run is a silly competition where you get three riddles, each pointing to a specific location in the Shire. You also need to figure out the location of the “finish line”. The competition is not about being the fastest hobbit of the Shire with the sharpest wits – it’s about having fun and roleplaying your character. In the end, folks will be rewarded for various reasons – things they do during the competition, how they dress up, and so on. You are welcome to form pairs and teams, if you like!
How to prepare?
The only thing you will need for this event is a lighthearted attitude! If you would like to compete in a team, you can ask around in advance. A small team of 2–4 hobbits is good. Feel free to dress up in a funny costume (if you are in a team, all members can use a themed costume/uniform, etc.). The main focus is to have fun and be silly. This is a lighthearted competition where the main focus is on roleplaying our characters and having fun. The event is meant for hobbits and travelling dwarves who are not afraid of getting a bit wet.
