With the initial investigations of the ancient relics now complete, the final report was given to the Scholars of Imladris and Lord Elrond. After some time the warband were called to speak with Lord Elrond in his library, he openly spoke with the members informing them how he was concerned about the presence of these stones and that he had no clue as to their purpose. But one thing he did believe in was that he felt they held some dark purpose. He bid the warband seek out the others who had gathered those weeks past in Imladris to discuss the stones and see if they had learned any more of their reason for being.
One of the scholars of Imladris, Nystal then appeared. He took the Lady Elisbeth to one side to speak of the rune the warband had been tracking which had been discovered in Annuminas and which the warband had followed discreetly to eastern Angmar. He spoke quietly with Lady Elisbeth the warbands leader on the matter. She later did not discuss with the others exactly what was said but by her manner and change of focus it was evident the Council of Imladris placed some importance on ensuring this rune does not stay in the hands of someone who could use it to aid the forces of shadow.
