After leaving the Hall of Fire Khalis caught sight of Elisbeth speaking with Lord Tindir of the Vanimar, he was one of those present at the first gathering where the initial concerns of the relics was raised. As Khalis approached he realised they were speaking on this very matter. Elisbeth and Khalis informed him of what they had learned of them and they pondered on what course to go down next for it seems Lord Elrond and his advisors were at this time puzzled as to their true meaning. Lord Elrond did believe they were a portent for worse things to come and that they were indeed some kind of marker or focus for the powers of shadow. Elisbeth had already spoken with the scholars of Imladris to ask them to look into the unique qualities each of the stones seemed to show which differentiated each one.
The group were then joined by the Lady Himwen, a warrior who seemed more at home in the lands surrounding Imladris than the Hall of Fire itself, and then later her companiion Aelaer. Both seemed intrigued on the matter of these strange relics that had appeared across Arda.
As time drew on it was agreed that perhaps those who gathered before should come together once more and share what had been learned and perhaps to discuss what the best way forward should be. Khalis agreed to be the one to scribe letters to those concerned.
