This book is bound within thin wooden boards clad in forest-green felt, which hold tightly and carefully sewn pages of thick creamy paper. On the front is the title, embossed in burnt orange:

Within, set down in a very careful hand (if not as fair as that of a scribe) are these stories, the text being set on the right page of each leaf when opened.
