Poetry and smart words (and phrases) by Till Brown Noakes
So, why are hobbits small? What did we do to get that punishment? Or is it a punishment? Why is pie tasty? Why does trees grow leaves? Why do we make weapons? What is the earth made of? What is the reason for elves to have long, pointy ears? Why is it dwarves that have the longest beards of us all? What is fire coming from? Is there a God? Who is he? Are we alone?
All such questions, and more, are what I will answer today, on this piece of parchment. I am not a great writer, nor am I a clever hobbit. I am not old and wise. I am not experienced. I do not assure you that the answers I give here are true; the answers are from my mind, I will write everything down about what the reason could be, not what it is. I can not be sure, nor can you, as I am inexperienced and have no idea what is true and wrong. This is only for... people without lives who likes to read phrases and texts written by hobbits who would do anything for the money they need to get their hobbitholes.

Why are we hobbits small? It might be because we were created like that. We do, also, have traits and virtues that other races do not. We are boldheartet, we have the biggest stomachs and we can run longer and faster than any other. With every good, there are bad too. Or maybe, it's just because we eat far too much pie.
Why is pie tasty? That's an easy question: Pie is tasty because we are good cooks!
Why does trees grow leaves? Now, that's a hard one. Maybe because they need clothes for the summer? Maybe not. They don't really have leaves when it's winter and cold. Might also be to protect them from the summer sun!
Why do we make weapons? Don't ask me, I don't even know which end of the sword to hold!
What is earth made of? Stone probably. And sand. Stone and sand gives earth! And really bad pies.
Why does the elves have so long and pointy ears? Because it's a great weapon! You can stick others with them, and trust me, it really hurts!
Why does the dwarves have so long beards? Because they are the most boring of us all! That's what you get out of having iron as your best friend folks!
From what comes fire? Evil magicians probably, throwing fire to us. Or maybe just some evil dragons. I vouch for the magicians however!
Is there a God? Ofcourse not! If there was, I would have smaller feet!
Are we alone? No, ofcourse not. We have all our friends and family!
Good words and phrases to know:
Gregarious. I don't know what in Elf-land it means, but it's always great to know fancy words!
“The gift of the gar”. Means you say far too much. And it also sounds cool!
Quaffing. Ah, an ale or two, never done me any harm!
