Harla and Her Lute of Silver Strings

Cat's ancestor, Harla, playing her enchanted instrument of silver strings. In addition to having a love for strong drinks just like Harla did, and rarely ever being fully sober because of it, Cat also bears a striking resemblance to this particular ancestor of hers in body type, facial structure, and hair and eye color. 

The lute that Harla is holding was specially handcrafted for the witch- commissioned and enchanted by the Tribute Infernus to further aid in enhancing the power of her song. Once it was complete, she also infused its silver strings with the power of the witchfire. Many, many years passed, and countless souls fell victim to the witch's song combined with the lute's spell. But as her power started to fade, Harla separated the strings from the lute and hid them both in different places so that her prized possession wouldn't fall into the hands of another- each safeguarded by traps and long forgotten about until recently. After the lute mysteriously appeared in Cat's cave one night, Cat went on a little trip to the Greyflood to locate the missing strings. Once found, she reunited the two and now uses the instrument as her own. (If you see Cat with a lute in the game, this is what it would look like.)
