In a twilight's grasp, I bid my last adieu,
As shadows lengthen, my heart heavy with pain,
The time has come, my path must now undo,
A farewell goodbye, like tears in the rain.
A tender touch, a lingering embrace,
my soul entwined, but fate pulls me apart,
With whispered words, I seek solace and grace,
Yet sorrow lingers, gripping at my heart.
Oh, pretty world, that lifts me up,
making me smile, to smell the flowers,
Yet in this time, my love's flame shall not dim,
Bound by memories, forever it stays.
Yet, in this bittersweet, silver thread,
my memories, forever intertwined,
With tender words, forever left unsaid,
In whispered echoes, eternally bound.
Though destiny may part us, far and wide,
Forever in my heart, you shall reside.
though do not tear, when I depart
for my journey end, brings something anew
my poems shall live, as my soul fades on
for I wish you well, for time beyond
for keep my love alive, as I bid you farewell
for you may shed tears, but time goes on
