As the Forngarmo regained her consciousness she glanced ahead to see that she had wounded the corsair commander, but the leader of the band has escaped. She felt the pain from her wounded waist but the adrenaline surge was enough to hold her up at that moment. She glanced at the company, hoping that they too, have survived the blast. Yet again, the black speech woman has fired against her own allies. The ranger had a full mistrust towards her now.
- Could've just said you didn't want my help - Another ranger that arrived with the reinforcements has said as she pulled herself back to her feet. Most of the company apart of Captain Belenir, Thandanar and the black speech woman were now up again.
- Forngarmo, help Thandanar on his feet please. - Minaiadan then said towards her and without hesitation she came up to her now brother-in-arms and did her best to help him up, minding his injuries.
- Fa... Belenir, wake up. We need to get you back to the camp, quickly. - Achillenor, the leader of the reinforcements group then said, trying to wake the captain up but to no avail. Soon the company was on its way back to the boats with Forngarmo still supporting her new friend. Captain Belenor was carried back to the boats by several men, still remaining unconscious.
- How are you feeling, Dunedain? - Thandanar then asked her. She started to feel the effects of blood loss after waking up but didn't alarm anybody about that.
- Strange... - She then answered, feeling weaker.
- Well... you fight well. I am honoured to hath fought with thou. - He then looked at her again. The ranger smiled weakly.
- Likewise... - She said and she really meant it.
They all managed to get back to the boats. Soon, they were on their way to the camp back in Tinnudir. As they reached it the Forngarmo finally passed out from blood loss.
- Well. That can't be good. - The other ranger then said, while still helping the other members of the company. Most of them have been carried away and taken care of.
- My time to help you, Lady Forngarmo? - Thandanar then tried to ask but The Forngarmo seemed to be unconscious with her waist heavily bloodied.
- "Here, Padrasul... use it on the ranger.." - The black speech woman then said to the other ranger, giving her the same paste as she was given before. Then she was escorted away by the others.
- By the Tree... Get her some aid now! - Thandanar then exclaimed, seeing the wound. Padrasul began pulling away the cloth she can, and cutting away the cloth that's too complicated to get away quickly. She looked at the wound to determine how bad it was, or whether she can simply sew or cauterize it. Gladly it wasn't a complicated wound so the procedure was really simple.
- Does anyone have sewing tools on their person or nearby? Otherwise we'll have to cauterize this.. - She said shivering at the thought of it, then decided to look through Forngarmo's pockets as another of their companions returned with some bandages. As she found the tools needed she cleaned the wound and sutured it. After a few minutes The Forngarmo regained her consciousness and tried to stand back up.
- Whoa whoa whoa...we need to bandage you after applying Aelwynna's salve.. - The other ranger then stopped her from reckless movements. - You'll bust your sutures if you move too suddenly. - She said applying the paste on the wound as the ranger nodded at her. When the bandaging was done, she helped her injured companion back to her bedroll.
- I am the Forngarmo, by the way... never had the chance - She introduced herself to her helper then, as she never caught the name before.
- Oh, no we didn't. I am Padrasul. Nice to meet you. I suppose you're a new addition to the Order? - Padrasul then introduced herself and asked.
- More like an ally. I am where the King needs me to be. But it seems we will see each other more often. - Forngarmo then answered.
- I was assigned to help the Order with their mission. So, aye, I imagine we shall. - Padrasul then answered as they both sat down by the fire.
- It is weird being back in my homeland, even though my village doesn't exist anymore - She then sighed.
- Oh? This is your homeland? Normally you'd just have been assigned here then. I am sorry your village is gone... - She seemed moved by the news of Forn's village being gone.
- Well, very close to the land of the Lossoth. But it was attacked and burnt down when I was young. We barely escaped. - The ranger said having the flashbacks of her past.
The two talked for a long while before finally joining the others and laying themselves to the well deserved rest, thus ending their mission and taking time to heal up.
