Chronicle Content
Young Arnethir has left The Angle behind, drawn by whispers of a gathering in the west, of Rangers and kin answering the King’s call to raise up Cardolan once more.
He came with little more than a blade, old songs, and the weight of names he’d grown up hearing in story. What he found were people: builders, wanderers, midwives, children, and elders bearing scars both fresh and ancient.
They are not many, nor grand of host, but each stone they lift, each fire they tend, sings of something long forgotten: the will to shape a future, not merely survive the past.
Now among them, Arnethir begins to see that the road ahead is not just a path walked, but a place made. Not all carry swords. Some carry warmth, or bread, or grief too deep for words. But all have answered the same call.
Let others speak of thrones and battles. Here in the wild hills of Cardolan, a new tale begin: in laughter, labour, and quiet resolve.
