The scouting party

During a recent resupply expedition of the Dwarven caravan to the Misty Mountains, one of Lord Gloin's scouts shared a rumor with Atgar Smokehand about the whereabouts of Glumir, the notorious Dourhand, that he is soon to travel to Sarnur from Gabilazan.

Upon hearing of this, Atgar's eyes shined in anger and excitement while he shouted "At last i will have vengeance for his crimes against my family! This wretched Dourhand won't escape justice this time!".

It was no surprise that in the next gathering of Durin's Folk, Atgar went on to explain the crimes of Glumir and specifically the murder of his father, Otgar, and the stealing of his family's heirloom axe. Although able to handle an axe in battle as any Dwarf, Atgar is no warrior so he asked for the support of the Kinship in order to deliver justice upon this grudge.

After lengthy discussions about the best approach for this endeavor, a plan was made and agreed upon. The first step is to send a small scouting party into the ruins of Orodost and the outskirts of Sarnur to check whether the rumor about Glumir is true and to gather as much information for the strength of enemy forces and the layout of Sarnur.
