Rumpli the Great
After many harrowing adventures in the darkness of Khazad-dum, the Emberdeep Expedition finally opens the mysterious vault...and inside they find a hoard of discarded rings and a collection of journals. Upon investigating these journals, it was discovered that a warrior-scholar of great renown in the days of Khazad-dum's glory made these rings, as he was attempting to recreate the magic ring that was given to Durin, one of the famous seven rings given to the Dwarf lords. But this effort drove him to madness, so this warrior-scholar was sealed away in this vault in a tomb. But upon investigating this tomb, the identity of this warrior-scholar was revealed...he was none other than Rumpli, the great ancestor of Rompli! Apparently Rumpli was actually real and Rompli didn't just make him up! Rompli was overjoyed at this discovery, then briefly terrified as it dawned on him that his great ancestor was a scholar and so must have read many books, only to be overjoyed again upon coming to the entirely reasonable conclusion that it was all this book reading that drove his great ancestor to madness. Rompli then vowed to get revenge on all books for so insulting the honour of his great ancestor!
