Traveling Tidbits

Coming soon to a village near you! Traveling Tidbits is currently a one Elf endeavor to offer assorted snacks, meals and sometimes experimental drinks to the many people (and creatures) of Middle Earth.   

   The Elf in question is Filhedhel.  She will randomly choose a town or village and look for permissions to cook and serve food to anyone who comes by.  It may be in the local tavern, the town hall or in an open field while dodging Aurochs! 

  Offerings to include (but not limited to, and subject to change):
Stone Stew- a hearty stew of local meats, vegetables and herbs with a heat-retaining stone tossed in the pot to keep it comfortingly hot!
Assorted breads and pastries
Frisket's Basket- The week's experimental bakery offering! It might be cookies! It might be cake! It might be granite-hard muffins suitable for range ammunition!
Drinks! - There will always be assorted teas and coffee offered with suitable accompaniments, but sometimes Fil tries her hand at brewing and cocktail mixing too.  Sometimes she tries to do too much at one time and confuses cocktail creation with alchemy, so be on the lookout for interesting reactions! 

  There is never a charge when Traveling Tidbits is open, all who are hungry are welcomed.   If you feel the need to trade,  then produce, interesting trinkets, music or stories are preferred, but never coin.

 (( Specific locations and times of day will be posted at least 24 hours ahead (for the most part) on the Roleplayers of LOTRO site.  
   This is noted as a 'one elf' mini-event but as a player I welcome other cooks, minstrels, booze vendors and everyone to come join in when I set these up.  
   It may become a regularly scheduled event but for now, it will be random 'when the spirit moves me'.
