NOTICE TO ALL TRAVELLERS 

Issued by Order of the Reunited Kingdom and the Free Peoples

To all merchants, pilgrims, adventurers, bounty hunters, and those who wander the wild roads:

Reliable reports from scouts, Rangers, and border patrols confirm that the lands beyond the Black Gate are no longer abandoned.

The northern marches of Mordor, particularly the region of Udûn, have fallen under the control of an unknown power.

The Black Gate, once left broken after the downfall of the Dark Lord, has been reclaimed and fortified. New watchtowers have been raised, patrols now roam the ash plains, and strangers approaching the region have disappeared without trace.

Witnesses speak of a new banner, though none can agree upon its appearance. Those few who escaped tell only of whispers...

"The Nameless Fear."

Little is known of those who command this growing host.

They bear no allegiance to any kingdom of Men, nor do they openly proclaim themselves heirs to the Dark Lord. Orcs, fallen Men, Easterlings, mercenaries, and other dark-hearted folk have reportedly gathered beneath this mysterious banner.

Their purpose remains unknown.

Travellers are strongly advised not to approach the Morannon or the northern borders of Mordor under any circumstance.
