I am so close, I only need to find the right material to produce such a string.

It will work according to my ideas, I’m positive about that think of the possibilities an army would have using such a machine.
Ah…. That’s it, maybe I should use strains of human or animal hair to make the ropes which I can attach to the arms of the machine, and if it is being pulled back I can let the rope twist to give it even more strength. Brilliant!
Hmh… But what would be the best way to pull back the rope… I should think about this….
