Report one; Arrival of Eldar host.

Suilad, Hir Halbarad.

I apologize in delay before sending the first report. The  Eldar host has arrived at Lin Giliath in good order, though it is certain that the Enemy already knows of their coming. Impressive a sight though their waving banners and loud horn-calls might be; it can have done nothing but alert our enemies to their presence.

As instructed, Meduion and I have greeted them, offering our assistance and knowledge of surrounding lands. Elgaraen, too, has arrived with the host, and has delivered your message sucessfully. Lord Curugirion of Loth I Lonnath had accepted our help with evident gratitude, but I cannot say the same for some of the other parties.

Elgaraen and I have already participated in skirmishes, each in company of diffrent unit, where Meduion remained at Lin Giliath as a liason.

After going into hostile territory to scout, Istuir, Achazia and Elgaraen came across a large encampment of goblins. Elgaraen's attempts at remaining unseen were, in the end, futile due the Elves' charge into combat, dispatching several Goblins.Upon their retreat to the the elves' camp, they found two goblins naught but several yards away from the clear waters of Lin Giliath, watching the refuge. After discussing this distressing fact with each other, Istuir brought their gathered information to Curugirion.

I myself joined the host of Vanimar, hoping to offer my knowledge of lands ahead. They were very eager to charge into battle. They blew their horns and thunderingly rode to battle with the Trolls that have taken up residence in the forests close to Dol Dinen, leaving me behind. Still, I did my best to aid another group, mainly of the Laiquendi Order.
The Laiquendi Order fought in a more disciplined manner, though in the open, mostly as a party of archers. This might have put them at risk had I not been there, along with two others to fight in melee combat and prevent the enemy from reaching the archers' position. We cleared out the Enemy's patrols from the northernmost part of the forest, but I believe that will be for nought, since by nightfall our enemy will return there again. But it was not unsuccessful, for it did raise the spirits of all, particularly those back in camp.
As for the Vanimar, I learned upon their return that one of their lightly armoured scouts had been wounded in battle. Why they even brought a scout to a battle they intended to fight with a frontal assault is beyond me.

So far, I believe there have been three casualties in total; two wounded and one missing.

We shall remain here as instructed and I shall detail another report soon enough.
