Warriors of The Order of Hammer gathered as requested in Delossad in Tal Bruinen for the Tournament. Contesters for the title of Champion were Tindir, Kalluin, Mittanyaro, Turmagor, Yende, Celephindir, Naergon, Gaelimil, Daegond, Themodir. All of them have been training for the Tourney for the past weeks and were ready in their heavy armor.

Some of our kindred and friends were present as audience.

After a brief speech I announced the rules. Any type of armor and weapons were allowed. Dishonorable actions not to be tolerated. It was all contender's right to forfeit at anytime. A draw match wopuld be repeated untill one side is defeated or forfeited.

I started the tourney with the preliminary matches.

First match was between Lords Tindir and Mittanyaro. It was well fought, Mittanyaro proved great defensive skill, but Tindir's skill with two handed Hammer was greater and proved victorious.

Second match was between Turmagor and our newest recruit of the Hammer, Gaelimil. Spear and sword clashed, it was well fought but Turmagor dispatched his opponent quickly.

Third match was between Themodir and Daegond the Hound. Both were restless and proud and taunted each other to fight with their bare hands. I did not object. After a violent fist fight, Hound suddendly grabbed his hammer and attacked, Themodir suffered light injury, managed to grab his sword quickly and defend himself. Although The Hound managed to defeat his opponent, he fought dishonorably. Some of the audience would have it repeated, some called it fair. I gave the decision to Themodir. He said he had fought honorably and Hound had not. I declared Themodir victor and disqualified the Hound for his dishonorable deed. Like a scorned but loyal Hound, he knew his folly and said naught.

Fourth match, we watched Lord Kalluin against Celephindir. It was a violent clash which Kalluin ended shortly, knocking out his opponent swifly. No serious injury was inflicted.

The final preliminary match was between Naergon and Yende. They fought two rounds, shield and sword against dual swords, and Hammer against Hammer. A very close fight it was but Naergon was victorious. No serious injury was inflicted to the contenders.

We moved on to semi finals. Lords Kalluin and Tindir fought the first round. Both seasoned guardians of great valour, it truly was well fought. Kalluin showed good example of fighting with greathammer while Tindir showed great skill with greatsword. In the end, Kalluin proved victorious and rose to the Final.

Second match was Turmagor against Themodir. Ringing of swords echoed the stone halls. It was a fair fight and fought honorably. Turmagor defeated Themodir in the end.

The third match was between Turmagor and Naergon. Greathammer and Greatsword clashed, but Turmagor was swift and deadly and fought like a lion, taking the better of Naergon and rising to the Final.

Despite some bruises and light cuts, no grave injury was inflicted. Wounds were tended to after the fights.

In the final we witnessed the finest two of the Hammer, Kalluin against Turmagor. Kalluin switched to fighting with a swift spear while Turmagor used his greatsword again. Turmagor having just recovered from his dire wounds suffered in Angmar and also having fought an extra round, was defeated to Kalluin's spear.

Graciously they saluted the audience and I announced both their deeds and declared Kalluin Champion of the Order of Hammer. Audience cheered and sung in his honor.

After his victory, Champion challanged me, perhaps in hopes of breaking my undefeated title and achieving it himself. The audience cheered for a final match I could not refuse. I donned my armor and stepped to the field. I do not recall much of what happened but it was a tough fight, swift and fierce. It was fought hard and I was the victor. Audience cheered and it was a joyful sight for all.

After the tournament, Lord Kalluin the Champion sang a song for the glorious slain of Vanimar in recent battles against the enemy. Naergon took his oath to Vanimar and many witnessed it. Afterwards, all contenders of the Hammer were promoted to rank of Warrior from Recruit except Daegond the Hound. For his fighting prowess and rise to the final despite his injury, Turmagor was double promoted to the rank of Sergeant and granted right to wear appropriate golden shoulders of his rank.

As promised, five thousand silver piece reward for the Champion is to be presented at the next meeting.
