Death and Beyond (part one)

So he finaly did it. He left Imladris, with tears in his eyes... But also with great anger in his heart, and his ancient Noldo Fea burned with flames once more! He knew that turning back from Imladris, from his kinsmen, the ancient Noldor, will be unchangable.

But he cared not, his time sitting idle was gone, his time listening to fair elven music was over, his time listening to petty quarrels over even more pettier things was behind him. Yes, for Arvaryar, the time has come to redeem his ancient evil deeds, the time has come to go to war, alone, to fight till death and to take with him as many of the followers of Sauron as he could.

And this brought the smile back to him. Yet as much as he wanted to go alone, he could not, no not yet. He travelled to the Blue Mountain, met his Naugrim friends and left with them to fight the shadow.

The Naugrim were glad for his company, at first, for in him they saw the old Dwarven tales come true, that indeed some Elven warriors existed that dared to leave their forests or towers, that brought the fight to the lands of the enemies. Yet they also saw in him carelessness, for he did not fight to protect or save; he fought for fighting, for spiling the blood of Evil, to redeem his deeds, that he thought unredeemable.

After days of traveling and fighting south of the Blue Mountains, they came to great host of orcs with a few trolls, it is there that most of the brave dwarves met their end. And so did Arvaryar... Or so his friend thought..

His friend, the Naugrim Allrin, found him breathless and in blood. Allrin knew how Arvaryar wished to be buried. In the sea. He wished his ancient body to be brought by the waves to the Isle of Himling, to the lands that he once served. The lands that he left his heart. The land were the the Glory of the Noldor still echoed in the winds or perhaps by songs of the ever wandering Noldo Prince that is belived to have survived...

And so his body was cast into the sea. Yet the waters brought him life. Perhaps a gift of Osse or Ulmo?

And Arvaryar survived. He woke up in the small island not so far form the lands of Lindon. And there waited. And thought of things to come...
