| Outward Appearance | You see a dark-haired elven youth, long-limbed and gracile, with a hint of mischief in his green-blue eyes. Brichant has little of the somber gravitas of older elves, instead seeming alive to the present and ever ready for some song or jest. Even when facing his foes, he strikes without malice, fighting with a fierce joy in the skill of body and hand. He goes attired in elvish hunting leathers dyed a soft hue between blue and green, under an ornate mantle embroidered with a dragonfly's wings. |

Background
"Lasslodad" his mother called him in fond exasperation - a floating leaf tossed on the wind, never finding rest. Brichant was a very active child, and steered by his kinfolk into athletic pursuits to give his boundless energy some modicum of discipline and focus. As the Shadow lengthened over Greenwood, his regimen came to include weapon training, focussing on long blades.
Brichant is tireless in his guardianship of the Westlands and although he takes no pleasure in violence he is also fearless - some would say reckless - and his wild impetuosity does as much to demoralize his opponents as his considerable swordsmanship.
Brichant has earned the lasting resentment of the lorekeeper Rauneth by declining the betrothal arranged for them by their parents when they were still children. For his part, Brichant laughs the matter off, refusing to take the notion that he might wed seriously.
